Why is bad that companies are delisting and going to the LSE?

I am writing my thesis on Sarbanes-Oxley and for one of my submissions (5 submissions 30-60pg total thesis) I am discussing how companies are choosing to not list in the NYSE because compliance to SOX is to cumbersome and costly. What does it mean for American Business that these companies are going to the LSE (London Stock Exchange) versus the NYSE? Does it hurt American Business?

It hurts the specific business since they have far less exposure to investors.
