Why dont Jehovah's Witnesses get Baptized in the Name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit anymore?

Update:

Conundrum:there is no point in posting comment without an answer.

Update 2:

Did a yahoo Search and there actually is no answer that I can find

Update 3:

Watchtower paragraph 23:"THE MEANING OF YOUR BAPTISM

23 Jesus said that his disciples would be baptized “in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit.” (Matthew 28:19) This means that a baptism candidate recognizes the authority of Jehovah God and of Jesus Christ. (Psalm 83:18; Matthew 28:18) He also recognizes the function and activity of God’s holy spirit, or active force.—Galatians 5:22, 23; 2 Peter 1:21."

It is what you CLAIM but it is not what you DO

Update 4:

Baptismal questions from the Watchtower 1985 Jun 1 p.30:

(1) On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?

(2) Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization?

    Jehovah Witnesses Deny the Trinity.

They believe when the Bible refers to the Holy Spirit that it is simply talking about God’s power in action. http://www.watchtower.org/e/200607a/article_01.htm

Also they understand Jesus to be Michael the Archangel, and categorically deny His deity.

While most churches today baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit the early disciples only baptized in the name of Christ, even though Christ gave them the instructions to use the three names.

The only reason I can think of for doing this is that they understood without reservation that to baptize in the name of Christ was using all three names as The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are the one God.

The JW's baptize their brainwashed suckers into the organization that has taken Christs place as the only mediator between God and man.

The Watchtower will tell you that you have no chance of salvation unless you have been baptized into the Watchtower, even then they still never have any knowledge if they have done enough works to earn Christ's free gift of salvation.

Before you can be baptized into the Watchtower, you need to take in accurate knowledge of God and then be asked a series of questions by the elders to see if you qualify to be good enough to be baptized.

The early JW's must have been better Christians as they ensured that over 5000 passed all these requirements and were all baptized (not into the Watchtower) in just one day.

Jehovah's Witnesses are baptized into the "holy spirit led organization"

    horrible

where at in the Bible is ANYONE to be baptized into the name of a group of people?

There is ONE NAME that is ABOVE EVERY NAME and that is CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD

This is NOT their Lord and Mediator. This is not their Master and One Saviour. This Jesus is NOT what they mean when they say they follow THE TRUTH.

Acts 2:38, "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

They say they do but they will flatly refuse to say it out loud and publicly. Strange because Jesus said it out loud in His command, so what is making them quiet down in their Kingdom Halls what Jesus said???

Oh, that dreadful fear they have of the Trinity!

  • Because they don't believe in the deity of Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Of course, this goes against how Paul taught us to be baptized, but they go against the Bible every day.

The following show the changes to the two questions that require answering publicly on the day of baptism.

Baptismal questions from the Watchtower 1966 Aug 1 p.465:

    (1) Have you recognized yourself before Jehovah God as a sinner who needs salvation, and have you acknowledged to him that this salvation proceeds from him, the Father, through his Son Jesus Christ?

    (2) On the basis of this faith in God and in his provision for salvation, have you dedicated yourself unreservedly to God to do his will henceforth as he reveals it to you through Jesus Christ and through the Bible under the enlightening power of the holy spirit?

Baptismal questions from the Watchtower 1970 May 15 p.309:

    (1) Have you recognized yourself as a sinner and needing salvation from Jehovah God? And have you acknowledged that this salvation proceeds from him and through his ransomer, Christ Jesus?

    (2) On the basis of this faith in God and in his provision for redemption have you dedicated yourself unreservedly to Jehovah God, to do his will henceforth as that will is revealed to you through Christ Jesus and through God's Word as his holy spirit makes it plain?

Baptismal questions from the Watchtower 1973 May 1 p.280:

    (1) Have you repented of your sins and turned around, recognizing yourself before Jehovah God as a condemned sinner who needs salvation, and have you acknowledged to him that this salvation proceeds from him, the Father, through his Son Jesus Christ?

    (2) On the basis of this faith in God and in his provision for salvation, have you dedicated yourself unreservedly to God to do his will henceforth as he reveals it to you through Jesus Christ and through the Bible under the enlightening power of the holy spirit?

Baptismal questions from the Watchtower 1985 Jun 1 p.30:
