A series with four entries can be referred to as a Quadrilogy (eg. the Alien Quadrilogy), but there is no set rule for how to refer to what comes after a Trilogy. A series with multiple entries (James Bond, Harry Potter) often have no such title at all.

Then isn't it just a series (i.e people always refer to the Bond films as the Bond series)

The Star Wars movies (six movies) have come to be referred to as The Star Wars Saga

Not sure if upcoming Hobbit films (two parter apparently like the latest Harry Potter chapter) will be part of The Lord of the Rings films as they are definetly related.

But then again the Ewoks films aren't put in with the Star Wars Saga even though some characters are in common and they are in the same universe.

Depends on whether you like Greek or Latin prefixes. A series of two would surely be a duology or diology.

Then the two languages cross paths at three with both having the prefix tri for triology. Four would be a quadrilogy or tetrology. Five could be quintology or pentology. Six would prefix with sex or hex. Followed by sept or hept then crossing trails again at octo. Choose your poison nothing is official. If you think that's hard to keep track of consider semi, hemi and demi.

Although "quadrilogy" is the common word to use for what comes after a "trilogy", the technically-correct answer is "tetralogy". It is defined as "a series of four related works, as in drama or opera". It can be used in a series of four related works in film as well.
