Keith Richards vs Joe Perry?

Who's better? and why?

They are both pretty average, but Perry is a superior player to Keith. Richards has been stuck in Open G for 35 years and can't see the light of day. Also, Perry is a pretty good slide player, which Keith doesn't even attempt because of Ronnie Wood.

Keith Richards. Cause he got there first and he doesn't throw Mick off the stage like Joe throws Steven off.

They're both great, but they have different styles. I myself am a huge Joe Perry fan, so I'll choose him. But Keith is great as well.

As for technical skills, they don't matter.

Keith he plays so many different styles of music,and I just like him better.he seems to be a down to earth nice guy.

Perry...Yanks wipe the floor with Brit Guitarists, always have done!! Gilmour is the only exception....

they both are good but I think Keith is more rounded with his playing.
