The answer is r= -.5
I didn't know if you wanted the explanation or not but I wrote it just in case.
3r-r+15=14
Add 3r and -r together to get: 3r+-r=2r.
So the equation is 2r+15=14
Then subtract 15 from both sides, and the equation is: 2r=-1
Divide 2r by both sides and the answer is r=-1/2 or -.5
