    The answer is r= -.5

    I didn't know if you wanted the explanation or not but I wrote it just in case.

    3r-r+15=14

    Add 3r and -r together to get: 3r+-r=2r.

    So the equation is 2r+15=14

    Then subtract 15 from both sides, and the equation is: 2r=-1

    Divide 2r by both sides and the answer is r=-1/2 or -.5

    Why are you sideways?

    r = -1/2
