    Answer:

    3/12 or/and 1/4

    Workings out:

    1/6 x2 = 2/12

    2/6 x2 = 4/12

1/6 is the same as 2/12

2/6 is the same as 4/12

    In-between 2/12 and 4/12 would be 3/12

Both numerator and denominator can be divided by 3

    3 divided by 3 = 1

    12 divided by 3 = 4

    3/12 = 1/4

I'm almost positive that there's an infinite number, however, these two came to mind immediately.

Both 1/5 and 1/4 are acceptable answers. If you simply find any multiple of 6, and use it as the denominator, and then multiply the numerators by the same amount as the denominator, any fraction falling between the numbers is acceptable.

    For example.

    1/6 x (5/5) = 5/30

    2/6 x (5/5) = 10/30

All fractions between 5/30 and 10/30 are acceptable.

    Hope this helps. :)

If you make both the same common denominator, for example 12...

    You change 1/6 to it's equivalent: 2/12 and 2/6 to 4/12...

And in between 2/12 and 4/12 is 3/12...

    Hope this helps!!
