How do you say in german 8:30?

Question

My sentence is, Die Schule beginnt um 8:30 Uhr, die zu früh für mich ist. But i don't know how to pronouce 8:30, like in english we would say eight thirty.

Also how do you pronouce 60, 1000 in german

and the years 1990, 2006, 2009 and 2010.

08:30 in German is halb neun (noin) (i.e. half before nine, Dutch uses the same logic - half negen). Sixty is sechzig (sex zig), thousand is tousand. Years are usually pronounced in two halves so 1990 is neunzehn neunzig (noin sayn noin zig), the 2000's are zweitousand sex, neun and zehn.
