Pervez Musharraf was a close ally of the US?

Former Pakistani military ruler Musharraf admits that his government trained terrorists against India.

'Musharraf was a close ally of the US in the war on terrorism', the Pentagon said.

Don't you think that the terrorists trained by pakistan are also acting against US and other nations?

Yes, and now we're training the Palestinians and giving them arms so they can handle their internal Islamic terrorist issues. They already threatened to turn their new found training and weapons on Israel.

You'd think eventually we'd catch on to our err?

At what point in time do we get to give up saying "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and just declare all these Islamics our enemies and stop helping them?!

The Times Square bomber was Pakistani and when the judge said didn't he take oath of allegiance to the United states when he got naturalized citizenship he said "yes, but I didn't mean it!" Like we needed him as an example after we got mega example 40 years earlier from Sirhan Sirhan.

Remember who we were allied up and helping save during WW2? Well, those are our allies, we are Westerners, nobody else.

The only reason we were allied up with Musharraf was that he was "moderate" over a mostly radical Pakistani populace. He could barely keep his populace "in check" and there were many complaints that he wasn't doing enough and that's why we couldn't do enough against the militants training in Pakistan. It all endangers our safety.

And now with the terror alerts in Europe, yes it is all related. They're currently attacking our troops and gave us terrorist threats on Europe, yes what a wonderful relationship we currently have with Pakistan.

How many days is this identical question going to be asked? Mush was a close ally to Bush43. When Mush was defeated in the last election, he refused to leave office. Incredibly, Bush43 backed his pal for renouncing the democratic process.

Obviously, which is why the US trained Taliban are such an effective fighting force. They were trained by the US to fight the Russians in the 1980's
