I will go into detail to help you. Because I like it when people go in detail for me.
If your hair isnt too long, go to Sally's Beauty salon. Go to their website and see if theres a store near you. If so, perfect! go into the store and look for volume. Go ahead and get 20 percent volume. If you can't find it, go to the clerk and say "Can you please help me find the 20 Volume for bleaching hair?" Don't get a huge bottle, try to either get a small bottle or..a medium size bottle. Then, say "Where is the bleach powder?" She/He will show you where they keep the bleach, theres going to be tubs, and all kinds of stuff. But there will be a small packet ( a little bigger than a koolaid packet), look for one that says "B&W", grab 2 of them (btw the volume will be around 5 bucks, and the bleach powder should be around 2 dollars a packet). Now...buy some really bright red hair dye from manic panic, a VERY popular brand. and it works well! Go ahead and get two! just in case.
Now, look around the store and you will find shampoo and conditioner! there will be small packets of conditioner, make sure to get one packet of thoose. Doesn't matter which kind, maybe get one that says for dry hair, or if u can find one for bleach hair, get it. This is the best kind of conditioner you can get, and you are going to need it whenever you are done bleaching your hair, TRUST ME!
After that, go home and get a mixing bowl, gloves (PLEASE use gloves, that bleach will make your hands feel like ants are biting you!) Poor one packet in the bowl, and pour some volume in it, there isnt like a direct amount, but...I would not make it soupy, and i wouldnt make it clumpy. Make it thick, but...almost like...syrup. Then apply it to your hair, it might sting a little bit, but just bite your tongue and let it sit. There isnt a set amount on how long to leave it in your hair, just whenever your hair starts to get blonde-ish or if theres already red in your hair, your hair might turn light pink (please don't panic! once you put manic panic in there, it will fix!) Then wash it out! and use that lovely conditioner you bought, then blowdry your hair and apply the manic panic! Be sure to go to walmart and buy color treated hair shampoo and conditioner. Wash your hair every other day, instead of every day, so it won't fade quickly. And if it does, you have that extra manic panic stuff to rely on when it happens! (you won't need to repeat the bleach treatment again)
