Are flashing lights on the back of log trucks legal?

I commute on a 4-lane road that is an artery for log trucks traveling to some local mills. Most of them will have a flashing yellow light nailed to the end of one of the logs sticking off the back. Some of them (the led lights) are extremely bright at night and today (still dark out) I was behind one that had a... show more I commute on a 4-lane road that is an artery for log trucks traveling to some local mills. Most of them will have a flashing yellow light nailed to the end of one of the logs sticking off the back. Some of them (the led lights) are extremely bright at night and today (still dark out) I was behind one that had a red led flashing strobe light. Now that's got to be illegal. I thought it was an ambulance at first. I am in Florida.
