a) give function in standart form of the polynomial

b) solve for the zeros by using the quadratic formula

c) give the linear factored form

    y = (x-1)(x-2) has two positive real roots, but its value at x=0 is 2, so multiply by 6 and get y = 6(x-1)(x-2) for a quadratic function with two real roots and y-intercept 12. It opens upward, since coefficient of x^2 is positive, and so it has a minimum point.

    Edit: an easier example is y = (x-3)(x-4) which has all the required properties without adjustment.
