How many atoms of each element are on either side of this equation?

2Na3PO4 + 3MgCl2Mg3(PO4)2 + 6NaCl

2Al + 3Cl2  2AlCl3

    2Na3PO4 + 3MgCl2 = Mg3(PO4)2 + 6NaCl

    LHS (left hand side) 6 Na, 2 P, 8 O + 3 Mg and 6 Cl

    RHS (right hand side) the same number of each because mass is conserved.

    2Al + 3Cl2 = 2AlCl3

    LHS 2 Al, 6 Cl

    RHS the same number of each because mass is conserved.
