    In answering your questions:

    1. The historical GPA average is meaningless. UC Berkeley and UCLA, like other Ivy League universities, make admission offers from top to bottom.

In other word, there is no set minimum and the GPA is determined based on all applicants who compete for the offers.

However, you should not expect that you can have an offer unless your GPA is 3.8 or higher. If you are an international student, prepare for the worst (as the chance of admission for international students for both campuses is less than 4% as both campuses do not design for international enrollment).

    2. It depends how many withdrawals you have. But yes it will impact your application if you have more withdrawal.

It always puzzles me how someone graduates from a top institution without speaking fluent English..

But anyways, UCLA is about the same as UCB depending on the major. UCB is better in business and engineering whereas UCLA is better at liberal arts

The average GPA I have seem is around 3.6-3.8

    照理說 UCB 是比 UCLA 好一些

    所以我朋友幾乎進 UCB 的比較多

UCLA is very picky for your English level~

    從社大轉去 UCB 至少要平均3.5 UCLA 平均至少要3.8以上!!

    UCLA要求的比較高..還要有老師的推薦信函 還蠻麻煩的

    Withdrawal 是還好 但多多少少都會有影響!!
