What size jersey should i buy ?

well i want to buy a replica Colts jersey and i dont know which size i should get . ok so i measured my chest and it said 36 and.... i dont think thats right cause im a very big boy ( but not that big ) . So if you coukd help me that would be great . My waist size i like 34-36 if that helps at all.
