these are two seperate questions,i need to know if there was someplace in the 13th century,york,england.where there was a castle next to a village and a town ...or what was the closest town and village next to any castle in york.preferably cliffords tower,or the tower of london.thanx

There weren't any towns and villages in the city of York - York was/is a city by itself. The Tower of London is many miles south of York, in London.
You could research the area - look at maps and find villages and castles, then find out about their history.
