A day is one rotation of the Earth on its axis. God created the Earth in 6 days?

Before he created the Earth, how did he know how long a day was?

Genesis 1st chapter says "Almighty God created the Heavens and Earth, in 6 days' and talks about a evening and morning, referring to a 24- hours day.

TODAY SCIENTIST TELL US, THAT THE UNIVERSE CAN NOT BE CREATED IN 24 HOURS PERIOD OF 6 DAYS.

Note: few christians can say, Bible says about the 6 long period but this is obviouly false because there context says about the morning and evening which meaning 24 hours a day.

Bible says in Genesis chapter 1, verses 3 and 5 'light was created on first day'

Genesis chapter 1, verses 14 to 19 'the cause of light-stars and sun etc was created the fourth day'

HOW CAN BE CAUSE OF LIGHT BE CREATED ON 4TH DAY - LATER THAN THE LIGHT WHICH CAME INTO EXISTENCE OF 1ST DAY??? Its unscientific.

Further Bible says Genesis chapter 1, verses 9 to 13 'Earth was created on the 3rd day'

HOW CAN YOU HAVE A NIGHT AND DAY WITHOUT EARTH????

The day depends upon the rotation of the Earth without the earth created, how can you have a night and day??

Genesis chapter 1, verses 9 to 13 says 'Earth was created on 3rd day'

Genesis chapter 1 Verses 14 to 19 says 'The sun and moon were created on the 4th day"

Today science tell us 'Earth is part of the parent body..The sun'

It can not come into existence before sun-it is unscientific!

The Bible says in Genesis, Chapter 1, verses 11 to 13 'The vegetation, the herbs the shrubs, the tree - they were created on the 3rd day'

But genesis ch.1, verses 14 to 19 says 'The sun was created on 4th day'

How can the vegetation come into existence WITHOUT SUNLIGHT, HOW CAN THEY SURVIVE WITHOUT SUNLIGHT????

Some fundamentalists claim that creationism rather than evolution explains pre-human history. They assert that all physical creation was produced in just six days of 24 hours each sometime between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago. But in doing so, they promote an unscriptural teaching that has caused many to ridicule the Bible.

Is a day in the Bible always literally 24 hours in length? Genesis 2:4 speaks of “the day that God made earth and heaven.” This one day encompasses all six of the creative days of Genesis chapter 1. According to Bible usage, a day is a measured period of time and can be a thousand years or many thousands of years. The Bible’s creative days allow for thousands of years of time each

(2 Peter 3 verse 8 says: “one day is with God as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day” )

Don't get me wrong, I think it's all hogwash, but wouldn't this supposed God base the period of the earth's rotation on this already-set standard for a day that he himself made? Why assume that God bases his definition of a day on the rotation of the earth, and not the rotation of the earth on his definition of a day?

Well, actually that is our definition of day, but not the actual definition of day in the ancient Hebraic language. You see ancient Hebrew has far fewer words (around 8,000) compared to ours (about a quarter of a million). So one word can mean many things. So, the Hebrew word for day- is "Yom", however it also means, a month/ months, a season/seasons, a year/ years, or even the word time itself.

So in reality it could have a vast number of meanings spanning from years to seasons. But ultimately how long a yom is, is determined by God, it could be centuries or billions of years...time is really of no consequence when one is outside of time.

I believe that it says in the Bible or something that a day for God is like 1000 years, hence people believing in a "young earth" (an earth that is less than 10,000 years old). I personally don't believe any of that, but I hope that helps you understand the "argument". :]

The time, duration of days, nights of our world, is not the same as the time, duration of days and nights of the other world. Allah is the Lord of the Worlds. Only He, is the Most Knowing.
