I am having serious problems with this. It's from an AP study guide. I've tried switching the x's and y's and solving for y, to no avail. I know how to graph the inverse, but I don't know how to get an equation from that. I am in Calculus AB, so don't worry about complex explanations.

I am having serious problems with this. It's from an AP study guide. I've tried switching the x's and y's and solving for y, to no avail. I know how to graph the inverse, but I don't know how to get an equation from that. I am in Calculus AB, so don't worry about complex explanations.

If f(x)= (x^5 - x + 2) / (x^3 + 7)

find f’(x)

The choises are:

a. (5x^4 – 1) / (3x^2)

b. [(5x^4 – 1) - (3x^2)] / (x^3 + 7)

c. [(x^3 + 7)(5x^4 – 1) - (x^5 - x + 2)(3x^2)] / (x^3 + 7)

d. [(x^5 - x + 2)(3x^2) - (x^3 + 7)(5x^4 – 1)] / (x^3 + 7)^2

e. [(x^3 + 7)(5x^4 – 1) - (x^5 - x + 2)( 3x^2)] / (x^3 + 7)^2
