Tough choice... I prefer the lyrics to "Naomi," but "Last Stop: This Town" is one of the catchiest, coolest, smoothest songs. Ugh, lol. I'll just say "Naomi."
BA: I love E, but Mangum is my favorite lyricist. Ever. E. is a great lyricist, but... I mean, they're not that complex generally. He gets his message across--and he does so in a lovely ("I'm Going to Stop Pretending That I Didn't Break Your Heart") or cool ("Cancer for the Cure") manner, but I think Mangum is better at manipulating language.
For an example of Mangum's poetic/lyrical genius, look up "Oh Comely" or "Holland, 1945" or "Song Against Sex".

Wow good choices.
I'm gonna go with Naomi on this one. I have just recently discovered Neutral Milk Hotel, and I think they are a great band. That song is great, so is the other one.
BA: hmmm....Mark Oliver Everett.
Jeff Mangum is pretty unique actually...check out his lyrics on "Communist Daughter (first comment)"
