Isn't it amazing that CEO's that downsize their workforce and lay off workers get paid more?

Honestly, who the frick cares about the average joe or the professional worker that endured 6 - 8 years of college, has a family, kids and house. Screw them, if a CEO could cut expenses, downsize the workforce, create higher profit margins and finally reap a higher percentage of profits as bonuses or a lower percentage of a higher profit as bonuses why the heck not? And in some cases, some CEO's burn a company's stock to the ground (Jeffrey Inmhet, Dick Fuld) and get mega million dollar golden parachutes. How awesome is that?

    So whats the alternative?

    Not outsource/downsize and let the company slowly die (or quickly die in most cases)?

    It's easy to have the hatred for them for doing what they have to in order to survive in this economy. If you want to make sure you're not the one getting downsized or outsourced make yourself as indispensable as you can to the company. Never get comfortable in what you are doing.

    The easiest thing to hate is something that you don't fully understand, especially if that thing is constantly raked across the coal by the media.

    Thus the problem with Obama's ideology and whining liberals.

    Companies aren't in business to merely provide jobs and give you a chance to make a living, buy a boat, raise a family, etc, etc, etc............Its not about you at all.

    A company needs a certain number of people to keep providing services, to keep building product and to distribute that product. That's what the company does and is in business for. Not to keep people they don't need or in excess employed, not to get some cheap trick Obama created 'bonus' for hiring people. If business needs someone, then they hire, if they don't need them, they have the option to get rid of them. The more profitable a company is, the more they can pay out.

    That has always been an aspect of business. Perhaps in the olden days you will find a friend or someone whom keeps people employed, but those were the days when America was KNOWN for its ethics, is values, it honesty, good products and morality.

    We haven't been that for some time now and slipping more and more every year.........thank you left wing hippies and immoral liberal / socialist whom have been a disease to our society.

    As a conservative who always plans for the future, as i'm sure many of my forward thinking compatriots. All we can say is........."told you so" when it comes to leftist screwing up America and maybe you'll remember this when the next left wing, lying, unqualified, slippery as a snake politician greases your palm

    No, it's not amazing...the money they were paying the lowly worker can now go to the CEO. Even in smaller business they do things of that nature.. If a supervisor can find ways to make the employees work faster and get less hours that can equal a bigger bonus for them. They don't care if the workers get their forty, they are only thinking of themselves. That's why I made sure I was not employed by those types of people.

    It's not up to them to look out for us. That's why I look out for myself.

    Im the owner of a small business , as soon as Obama was elected i i laid off 3 known Obama supporters and gave my other employees a nice wage increase , we are now more profitable than ever .
