Why do I keep getting thumbs down for being a Socialist we got 70 Democratic Socialists in Congress?

The Socialist Party of America announced in their October 2009 newsletter that 70 Congressional democrats currently belong to their caucus.

This admission was recently posted on Scribd.com:

    I think you underestimate how dissatisfied the American public is with their own congressmen. The consensus on the street is that our government has lost the consent of the governed. The fact that 70 congressmen belong to the Democratic Socialist caucus only confirms that sentiment. And the reason you get so many thumbs-down is that the majority of Americans are flatly opposed to socialism for a number of reasons.

    I know for a fact that many of these people on your list are not members of any socialist organization or party, so your "source" is highly suspect and you are fairly ignorant.
