CraigsList Versus Online Dating Services ..... Which is More Harmful ... If At All ...?
CraigsList has started to change/accept censorship of the ads that others say promote prostitution and other unsavory topics.
Ok ... no problem. If it's bad for children and others then by all means protect somebody ... right?
The parties involved in trying to stop the ads that promote certain things used the case of 24-year-old Philip Markoff as a prime example of the dangers posed by Craigslist services.
The former medical student was accused of killing a masseuse he met through the hugely popular classified advertising site.
Markoff committed suicide in the Boston jail where he was awaiting trial.
How is CraigsList any worse than online dating services ... where it is quite possible Markoff could have committed the same murder after meeting someone through Eharmony?
What part does a personal ad on CraigsList play that's any worse than seeing someone in videos from Eharmony?
People with warped minds probably won't care whether they met a person they're going to kill through Eharmony or CraigsList.
I'm just curious ... (O_O)
Thanks and thumbs up to all who answer ... just give me time to get back and read the answers.

CraigsList, Online Dating Services, Pubs, Night Clubs, its all the same game and all have similar risks. Just be careful and don't do things like meet at a secluded place, or take drinks that you don't see being poured, etc.
People seem to make their own problems, and a careless target is an easy target.Source(s): http://www.singlesdatingsite.org/
