    1. Spain's national Costume

There is no national costume in Spain. Spain is the union of several medieval nations, that's why there's so much diversity between the different regions. The stereotype that british and americans have of Spain might make you think that the flamenco costume is the one. But flamenco is not The Spanish Culture because flamenco is the culture of the gipsies, which represent around 1.5% of spaniards, even though its exotism spread it outside from the gipsies groups.

    The regional costumes are:

    Galicia http://ve.kalipedia.com/kalipediamedia/artes/media...

    Asturias

    Cantabria

    http://www.casasdecantabria.org/lahabana1/festejo....

    etc................

    2. Picture of Spain

Spain's geography is full of mountains and valleys that configure diversity of landscapes.

    Castile http://www.coloredhome.com/fondos%20de%20pantalla/...

    La Mancha http://turismoactivo.us/wp-content/la-mancha.jpg

    Etc...

    3. What is Spain national foods.....

Cocido, Paella, Gazpacho and Potato Omelette (Tortilla de Patatas) are, with no discussion, the most important ones, with small variations depending on the region. Fish is basic in spanish gastronomy.

    4. Does Spain have an important animal?

The Bull is the stereotypical animal for Spain. Pig is way more important, though, being pork a basic ingredient in spanish gastronomy. For some regions cows, goats and sheep are really important in their history. Donkey is a really loved animal, specially in Catalonia.

    5. Interesting facts about Spain.

    - Spain has 5 official languages. When the moors invaded Spain, the christians seeked refuge in the different mountain areas in the north. Eventually this led to different evolution from Latin depending on the regions. Some of the different languages that emerged are not spoken today, but 5 of them are still spoken:

    - Galician

    - Castilian (also known as Spanish)

    - Basque (the only one that is pre-roman)

    - Aranese (known as Occitan, spoken also in southern France)

    - Catalan

Being Castile the most populated and rich area when Spain was on its way to be reunified, Castilian spread thru other areas. That's why foreigners started calling Spanish to the Castilian Language.

    - Other fact. Around 20% of spaniards are from germanic origin. The goths were a germanic tribe from southern Sweden than established in Eastern Europe. Because of the Hunes they had to migrate. The ones living on the western area (the visigoths) migrated to Spain and established their kingdom there when the Roman Empire fell. The Ostrogoths or Austrogothi would stay in central europe and found Austria.

This explains why 20% of spaniards have blue eyes.

    Hi, I'm spanish

The nacional costume... it depends, in Valencia, my city is the dress os fallera, but in other cities. The most famous is of "gitana"

Pirineos is famous, and galicia or extremadura have a very pretty looks. And valencia the tipical are the shores but they aren't so much pretty.

The tipical food is the paeya (valencia) , tortilla de patatas, gazpacho (andalucía)...

The animal... In Madrid the bear, in valencia the bat (for the footbal) but not specialy.

A curiosity most of the 70% hate the corridas of toros, i personality think that is horrible.

Another, the catalan, is the lenguage of cataluña is so similar of the valenciano and the mallorqui, because valencia and mallorca was repopulateed by catalanes and the lenguage change (not much).

    it's wind up time.!!!

One of the major languages spoken in Spain is Arabic.

It is spoken in Melilla, and Cueta but also everywhere else in Spain.

Moroccan Arabic is bigger than any other regional language in many parts of Spain.

Weird Fact. The Canary Islands are named after the dogs there.
