Courage is not the absence of fear,but rather the judgement that something is more important than fear!?

    It has been my experience that when in the grip of sweaty palmed,mouth so dry you are unable to produce saliva,heartbeat about to burst your chest fear;the adrenaline pumping through your body produces the courage to take flight or fight.It is an uncontrollable and automatic reaction.

    I have seen a few very courageous acts and what is common to all of them is that those involved always say the same thing...."I did not think about it,I just did what I had to do."

    I believe the quote informs that if it's a matter of life or death, courage will overpower fear.

    sounds like something I would of told my two daughters growing up!
