Help for storing fresh cilantro ?

I have a fresh cilantro coriander with it roots.

I was thinking to put the plant in a cup of water to stay alive

But since plants need some nutriment beside water, I was wondering what kind of nutriments can I put in the water in order to nourish the plant and keep it stay alive longer.

just tap water in a glass an inch or so to submerge the roots then covered by a plastic bag in the fridge it will keep for a week or so and you'll use it before any nutrients are needed.
