I have to use up a pen...?
My first assignment for foundation of drawing is to use up a bic pen with in a week.
I need suggestions for doodles and mini art to create enough variety for myself!
I'll be referring back to this question through out the week so hopefully you can give me some useful suggestions :D

Ball point pens are very good for creating cross-hatch shading. Do a series of simple drawings, but spend a lot of time shading them in with various cross-hatch techniques. Make them rich and dark with different textures. The darker you make the shading, the fewer drawings you'll have do actually create.

Do you know what "cross-hatching" is? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkGGpxQu-PE

Try stippling too.http://www.artyfactory.com/pen_and_ink_drawing/ink...
While some people just use cross hatching and/or stippling as ways of shading, you can create entire drawings this way, and it will use up a lot of ink!

umm look around. draw people, flowers, draw scenery, look on photo bucket for different pictures and draw your own version. those are just a few ideas.
