# how do i solve this question?

a heater coil connected to a 220V has a resistance of 150 ohms.How long will it take this coil to heat 1kg of water from 20 degrees to 60 degrees assuming that all heat is taken by water?given specific heat of water is 4200 Joules per kilogram per centigrade

c = 4200 J/(kg * C)

4200 J/(kg * C) * 1kg * 40C = 16800 J

I = V/R

I = 220/150

I = 1.467A

Q = I^2 R t

16,800 = (1.467)^2 * 150 * t

t = 52.042s
