When was the last time straight white males had a civil liberties rally/protest?

If affirmative action is the worst thing you can think of, then life is good.

Update:

@J$mooth, I guess affirmative action IS the only thing you can think of.

It is just amazing that straight white males have always been so satisfied with their lives, considering the fact that they were the only people who weren't allowed to vote for hundreds of years, while women and blacks ran everything. Black men and women dressed up in white robes and hoods and burned crosses in the yards of white males and lynched them when they attempted to vote. There were no white male presidents, CEOs, or governors. White males were once enslaved and not allowed to learn to read and write, they went to inferior segregated schools and have been in a struggle for hundreds of years to gain equal rights with blacks and women. Straight white males were experimented on in a study lasting from 1932 to 1972 referred to as the Tuskegee experiment, in which the effects of untreated syphilis were studied. The white males were not informed that their disease was treatable and they were deliberately not being cured. Laws were passed to prevent straight white males from marrying women. Gay people beat and murdered straight white males and called them fags and other nasty names. White males are still paid less than women for doing the same jobs. White males pay more for health insurance and receive fewer benefits than women. White males receive fewer life saving tests and treatments from doctors than black men and women. White males are more likely to be imprisoned for the same crimes as black males. Blacks and women are more likely to be hired for high paying jobs than white males. Apparently straight white males are just lazy and satisfied with the discrimination being practiced against them. In an ironic twist some whites actually go to tanning booths to darken their skin, although they resent the people with naturally dark skin. Go figure.

that is totally ridiculous that a white guy like myself won't be able to have an afternoon to experience proud to depend between the comparable lot of those that placed Neil Armstrong on the moon. I advise, you have have been given an afternoon for Mexicans, you have have been given a month for African-individuals, you have have been given an afternoon for gay people to be proud. Hell, you extremely have 4/20. the place's the white individual's day? Oh, i be responsive to. The white guy isn't allowed to brazenly experience solid approximately being interior the comparable race and intercourse as Teslar, Edison, Newton, Michelangelo, Beethoven, Armstrong, etc, good? yet, i assume we get to be the bigger adults and secretly experience proud. yet, that doesn't extremely plenty for the minorities screaming for interest, does it?

When was the last "Tea Party" rally? Lower taxes might be considered a civil liberty, as taxes mean the government decide how one's money is spent.

No, affirmative action does indeed blow, but we suck it up and drive on. Even knowing that there is a reserved spot for a minority at any given school or job or promotion, we deal with the crap and don't go riot afterwards.

It's called personal responsibility. And just because you have a protest, doesn't mean it is for a good reason and not made up bullshit

I attended a pro-Israel rally in Dearborn, Michigan during Operation Cast Lead. The local terrorists turned out in force to counter-protest. We were peaceful. They threw rocks. Nobody was surprised.

Affirmative action and civil liberties are two different things.

Affirmative Action is discrimination based on race and gender. It means the government can never be trusted because it is racist and sexist.

As for the worst things I can think of you really don't want to know.

I don't get what you're saying. Are you actually defending institutionalized anti-white discrimination?
