What a childish, ridiculous question. A Yankee fan has to actually have been to New York to be a Yankee fan or they are a "bandwagoner"?? Huh?? Are you eight years old? I live in Northern New York State, have followed the Yankees since I was a kid in 1977, but I have never been to New York City, does that make ME a bandwagoner?
Are Red Sox fans who have never been to Boston considered bandwagoners? Or does this only apply to Yankee fans? I guess that Braves fans who live in Florida, North Carolina, or South Carolina, but have never been to Atlanta are bandwagoners too, right? How about Oklahomans who root for the Rangers, but have never set foot in Arlington, Texas?
You think bandwagoners are annoying? Do you know what I think is annoying? People who have no lives who have nothing better to do, don't have any friends, who sit around and make up stupid questions, just to hate on the Yankees.
Can YOU recite YOUR team's starting 1995 lineup without looking online? I am a diehard Yankee fan and I can name only Mike Stanley (catcher), Don Mattingly (first base), Pat Kelly (second), Wade Boggs (third), Bernie Williams (center) , Paul O'Neill (right), and a rotation of Cone, Jack McDowell, Andy Pettitte, and John Wetteland as the closer. Rivera came up later in the year. I guess I am a bandwagon fan because I didn't name a left fielder (there were many that year), or the entire roster.
