could you swap a 2008 jk six speed trans into a 95 yj with a five speed?

title says it all.

    Basically, with enough time, money and adapters, anything can be adapted to fit anything else. You may have to change input shafts, and I would recommend keeping the 2008 transfer case, that way you won't have to worry about adapting that. I' pretty sure you'd need the driveshaft, too. I think it can be done, without too much work. You'll have to decide whether it's worth it.

    It is very possible to do.

    I own a '97 wrangler 4.0L and 6 spd.

    the six speed is out of a newer Wrangler that the owner before me put in it. It runs great and i love the 6spd. Very quick moving through gears.

    great question but i dont think so. check out some online Jeep forums and do some research another place might help called novac adaptors if it can be adapted they would know.
