    let the initial volume = V=lwh (length)(width)(height)

    change in volume = ΔV

    V+ΔV = [L(1+ALPHAΔT)] [W(1+ALPHAΔT] [H(1+ALPHAΔT]

    = LWH[1+ALPHAΔT]^3 TAKING COMMONS

    V+ΔV = V[1+3ALPHAΔT+ 3 ALPHA^2 T^2+ ALPHA^3ΔT^3]

    V+ΔV = V[1+3ALPHAΔT]

    V+ΔV = V+3VALPHA ΔT CANCEL Vs ON BOTH SIDES

    ΔV = 3VALPHAΔT ----------- (1)

    From vol expansion, we know that

    ΔV = BETAVΔT

    3VALPHAΔT = BETAVΔT CANCEL V AND ΔT ON BOTH SIDES

    3ALPHA = BITA proved
