Garmin nuvi 205w USA maps?

Question

I just bought a Garmin nuvi 205w GPS in MEXICO, and it came with a microSD. I am going to travel to the U.S.....do I need to get new maps or are they already in the device.???

Turn it on, go into setup(wrench symbol), touch "map", then "mapping information", the installed maps will be listed.
