In High School what do you do in a finance class?

i am forced to take this finance class for high school(9th grade) by the superintndent(i hate him so much)

so any way what do you learn??

everybody entering the 2010-2011 school year have to take it.

I think it's like balancing checkbooks and stuff like that. I have to take it too.
