What's a free ancestry website?

I need a free ancestry website trying to find the parents of my great grandfather and then there parents if i can. I'm in canada too.

The best site available free is Familysearch.org for research, It is totally free, and includes many research tools and other tabs to assist in your research. you might also try a Family History Center if one is near by. They are open to the public and free, There are computers as well as books, and media that is available. The centers have most of the subscriptions sites including Ancestry, but also several others that are used by serious researchers.
