why won't my gardenia's bloom?
i planted them a couple of years ago and they bloomed earlier this year, fell off shortly after and haven't boomed since. we live in georgia and temperatures now are very hot.

You answered your question, the heat will prevent many plants from blooming as transpiration is halted for moisture for new bloom and is used to keep the main plant alive. When it becomes more seasonable, your Gardenia will know when to produce new bloom.
