Jesus never "believed" in himself, because he never considered himself to be the Messiah when he was alive.

Furthermore, Jews do not believe in the "trinity" because we believe it to be worshiping multiple gods, which of course, is heretical. However, some (a lot, but, not all) Jews believe that Jesus was a Jewish teacher and perhaps even a rabbi.

The problem with the belief in "himself" as you ask, is that Jews have a different set of characteristics in order for someone to be the Messiah. Since the set is different from Christians, and none of the Jewish characteristics, occurred within Jesus' life, he cannot be the Messiah.

    I hope that helps.

The trinity is an invention of the Roman Catholic Church.

Jesus was a Jew yet Jesus changed the law fundamentally in that he was the new law.

This question cannot be answered because your asking us to place our mind in the mind of Jesus.

If we look at the question though in a gnostic esoteric way then the answer becomes clear.

God the Father.God the Mother.Christ the androgynous living spirit emanating from the principle.

  • The Last Supper shows him serving as both a priest of Osiris and the deity himself.

If we're to believe the Gospel account, he believed in a different trinity - Osiris, Isis and Horus.

Source(s): Either way, it's not Jewish. Incarnate deities and multi-part gods have no place in Judaism.

Correct. Jesus was a Jew, believing in a single G-d, never at any point regarding himself as a god or the messiah.

Jesus taught certain things about himself, including his divinity.

Those Jews who belived him wound up being given the name Christians.

That is correct. except for the fact that he DOES nothing. He believeS nothing, as he is dead.

The concept of "trinity" was formulated after his death.

He NEVER claimed to be the Messiah, nor Gd (who, btw, isn't the Messiah, anyway).

    Jesus started a new religion

    correct...

Jesus never mentioned anything like this.

It is a false teaching from Satan.

So this means that any religion that teaches this is doing Satan's will.
