Can I get disability for a reduction in my physical abilities if it isn't a disability?

Hypothetically, if my eyesight worsened during my military service, but it was better than 20/20 before and now is just normal, is that proof that I was damaged?

It could easily be linked to the hours I had to spend staring at a computer screen.

I don't think so. If your eyesight wasn't worsened as a result of your service in the military, and it's not preventing you from doing normal activities now, I don't think you can claim disability or get money for it. But maybe someone more knowledgeable about military matters would know for sure.
