listening to the lyrics it is about a women who has gone missing and they are going the police are going to find her

think this song means he lives with a woman that he can not trust, he must always watch out for her to make sure she is not cheaitng on him, and when he says "when the dogs begin to smell her, will she smell alone", meaning when he snoops on her to find out where she is going, will she be alone.. but thats just my opinion. there is a lot of different ways this song can be taken.
