I'm interested in learning more about "The shot heard around the world". How did a thrown snowball start the bloody Boston Massacre. And, I mean, a bunch of farmers, shop keepers, and teenage boys took on the world's most powerful military, and won! Did the Americans really invent gorilla warfare, to defeat the Brits. And how exactly did the mountain folks of the Appalachians win the war for us. I'm really excited about learning more about the Revolutionary War.
I also heard when the Brits came back in 1812, they burned the White House, the U.S. Capitol. ravaged and looted Washington DC, but a rare hurricane hit, driving them out. To this day people swear it was "divine intervention". And how about after bombarding Fort McHenry all night, the British fleet retreated after seeing Old Glory was still flying proud.Source(s): And no BS, it's all true.
