Why is Mrs. Sherrod suing Breitbart, and not the USDA; which "wrongfully" fired her?

Because Breitbart is the one who defamed her and put up lies about her (and the NAACP). Duh.

She was a private citizen. He deliberately edited the video to make her look racist (which he has pretty much admitted). Breitbart is in the wrong, plan and simple. He'd be a fool not to haul out his checkbook right away. This is not protected speech because she is a private citizen and not a public figure.

Most employees are at will, so unless she can prove discrimination, there is no basis of a suit against them.

Check her history. Suing is what she does to make a living. The USDA will settle. Breitbart will walk away laughing. She has no case against him.

Because she cut another deal with the White House. Remember she was originally going to appear on Fox to complain about Obama and the NAACP. Then all of a sudden, she cancels, gets her job back, and starts slamming Fox. HMMM???

Breitbart slandered her, ruined her good name and her reputation. She could sue the USDA only for wrongful termination which is quite a few steps down the ladder of importance.

    It's amazing, isn't it?

God our country is now resembling the movie Idiocracy.

I can't wait until the people wake up to see that liberalism is the poverty, misery and stupidity being evenly distributed.

Sherrod was wrongfully accused of being a racist (by the White House).

She was not wrongfully accused of being rational.

Wrongly fired her based on a slanderous video purposely created and distributed by Breitbart.

Because liberals always misdirect the blame onto a conservative.

    Because it's libel?

But it's a good point to debate: can someone pick and choose words spoken by a person, take it out of context so it harms another publicly?

Fox news does it every day.
