Any diets that I can Follow?

I need a drug free diet for me to lose 10 pounds fast! thanks!

    I think you mean you will not be taking diet pills.

    Great! Those things are really bad for you and don't work anyway.

    Best diet to follow is a natural way to lose weight and get healthy & fit.

    Make a list of your favorite (natural) foods from each of the 4 food groups.

    example:

    fruit & veg group: apples, bananas, green beans, tomatoes & whatever else you like

    dairy group: milk, cheese, yogurt

    meat group: chicken, beef

    grain & starch group: rice, potatoes, bran flakes

    all foods must be natural, no boxes, no cans, no packages of instant or anything with directions & man-made ingredients

    Now determine how much of each food equals a 100 calorie serving.

    example:

    1 apple, 1 med. potato, 1 ounce beef, 1/2 C. rice, 1C. skim milk ~ all equal about 100 calories.

    Now follow a plan of 1200 calories a day (ideal for weight loss) using the following formula:

    Breakfast:

    1 starch/grain

    1 dairy

    1 fruit

    Lunch:

    2 veg or 1 veg and 1 fruit

    1 protein

    Dinner:

    2 meat

    2 veg

    1/2 starch

    1 fruit

    1 dairy

    follow that, and you'll lose weight quickly, you will have healthy foods in the right combinations for good nutrition, and you'll lose really fast especially with 30 minutes or more a day of brisk exercise, like walking fast.

    After you get to the weight you want, maintain it by adding another serving of dairy or two, and some extra fruit and protein to your diet. Slowly add extra food, like 100 calories a day for a week, then 200, etc. until you are no longer losing but not gaining either.

    But keep that basic formula for eating the rest of your life and you'll never have to "diet" again.
