What are kids listening to now-a-days?? ;)?

But really, I'm going to summer camp, and every year there are awesome songs that everyone knows the lyrics to, and i don't and feel like a massive idiot. Last year it was "im on a boat" and "don't trust me" and miley cyrus's hoedown throwdown and anything taylor swift. The year before it was apple bottom jeans.

Update:

Sorry that I can't single handedly change the musical stylings of our youth, and for the record, if i listened to all the "crap" of my generation I wouldn't be in this predicament, would i? No, I'm all for the new wave stuff and woodstock and punk rock yeah whoohoo revolution dont let the man get you down whatever the clash devo the beatles led zeppelin jimi hendrix and the red hot chili peppers!

But I want to be able to sing along to the french part in Bad romance too!!!!

It's mostly Gaga and Beiber this year, and I think its funny how people are calling it crap the music of the youth is designed for them, not you, and it will always be a release from the trappings of their teen age life and living with their parents – thank goodness, something for them alone.

Go to iTunes and look at the store in the pop section or the top downloaded, and you'll know what songs they're listening to. Then you can go to the artist's myspace and usually listen to the songs for free if they have that song you want. Or go to YouTube and look up the song with lyrics, and you'll find it.

P.S. Only listen to the music you like, not what your friends like. :D Maybe introduce your friends to new music that you really like. . .
