Does brushing with baking soda to whiten your teeth ruin your teeth?

Does brushing with baking soda to whiten your teeth ruin your teeth?

Please don't brush with baking soda use a toothpaste or strips for home whitening but baking soda causes small scratches in the enamel that hold stains making them look even less white and Please do not gargle with peroxide it is caustic (harmful) to the tissue in your mouth and can leave you with chemical burns

  • Don't brush with baking soda, just put some on your finger with a little bit of water and like brush your teeth with your finger, that way you don't get scratches on your teeth and they don't thin....yeah...or just put a tablespoon of baking soda in a glass of water and swish that around your mouth...

It makes them whiter however, if you constantly do it, it will remove tooth enamel you should brush your teeth with regular tooth paste & use the baking soda method at least once a week
