If you are truly non-partisan, then I ask you to do a bit more research about the Reagan years.
Reagan INCREASED the income to the federal government. It was the DEMOCRATIC congress that spent more than he could bring in.
There is no problem with Reaganomics. EVERYONE wins. Were you an adult in the 1980's? It was an extremely prosperous time. Please look up the information.
Here's how Reaganomics works: A rich guy buys a multimillion dollar house. His real estate agent gets a huge commission and buys a new car. That car salesman buys some new suits. The suit salesman takes his family out to dinner and provides jobs for the waitress, cook, busboy, janitor, restaurant owner, the people who sell food to the restaurant, the truck driver that brings food to the restaurant, the gas station owner who fills the truck with fuel, etc.
Now, if the evil rich guy doesn't have enough money to buy the house, exactly how does all this money get distributed? Do you honestly think the government can do it fairly? They've messed up everything they've ever touched with the exception of the military. AND they always make sure they keep a huge chunk for their efforts.
