Burbank Calif V.S. Burlington VT (or states in general)?

Ok well.....

I am staying in Burlington VT. Ive been here since April, i moved here for an ex. yes i have bad memories here but i also like the area in general. transportation is easy and the people here are very sincere. when i describe VT, especially Montpelier i always start off by saying it's a hippie's paradise.

I've never been to the west coast before but i am heading there to see what its like. I hear its very crowded which is a turn off, VT has all of 10 people in this state.....additionally from what Ive seen in the media Calif is very feral.

I know i need to go there for myself and make my own decisions but i would like the input of my fellow yahooers...

If you want a west coast hippie's paradise try Santa Cruz or North San Diego county

    Avoid L.A.

Like you, I've been to Burlington(via the ferry),but not the West coast(really never had any desire to). Vermont is a gorgeous state! Been to the East and didn't care for all the rude people. When heading West, please be careful! :-)=

Burbank is in the middle of the LA urban sprawl - it's all one humongous, smoggy city. California is going to be more expensive to live in, especially in any of the "desirable" city areas.

I agree that, if you're lucky enough to live in Vermont, why would you want to move??

If you are lucky enough to live in Vermont, why would you ever leave?
