did you feel a tremor near the Tennessee/North Carolina border on July 3, 2010?

We were on top of Roan Mountain on the Appalachian Trail and since I was on an air pad the effect was dispersed but what I felt was like a vibration that lasted. It was very slight but I definitely felt it as it lasted about 10 seconds. I was the only one awake around 10 p.m. and none in our party felt it. Did you?

If there was one, it did not meet or exceed the 1.5 magnitude needed to show up on the USGS earthquakes map at http://earthquake.usgs.gov/

It might have been a rockslide or cave collapse that caused the vibration, rather than an earthquake. I have felt those from time to time.
