gpu help frames per sec?

i have a hd 5750 and want to do some gaming on it but all the benchmarks are at 1900x1200 would i get faster fps at 1440x900

    Yes. How much faster is hard to say, but lower resolution is always a means of increasing FPS.

    really dude thats a 5770 i have the 4850 x2 (1gb) and i can play most games at eye candy level that card should be able to dominate all modern games with at least 60 fps with high settings at the highest res unless your pc has a bottle neck somewhere fps should be the last thing you have to worry about

    You typically see a 10-20% increase is performance with lower resolutions.

    mmm no obiously dual cards beat a single card, um if you really itch to see eyecandy you can probably get around 30 fps at full res, and thats perfect(for me at least) lower resolutions frames go up
