Looks like someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Did you not watch The Daily Show With Jon Stewart? Arizona is trying to get rid of highway cameras designed to catch speeders. Racial profiling is OK but cameras catching speeders is an invasion of privacy. Their picky in Arizona on which laws you can break without being punished.

Please read what Arizona law enforcement did in Chandler some 13 years ago and you'll see why no one trusts them not to racially profile suspects.

Two months ago, the Arizona Republic published an exhaustive report that found that, according to statistics from the FBI and Arizona police agencies, crime in Arizona border towns has been "essentially flat for the past decade." For example, "In 2000, there were 23 rapes, robberies and murders in Nogales, Ariz. Last year, despite nearly a decade of population growth, there were 19 such crimes." The Pima County sheriff reported that "the border has never been more secure."

FBI statistics show violent crime rates in all of the border states are lower than they were a decade ago -- yet Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) reports that the violence is "the worst I have ever seen." President Obama justifiably asserted last week that "the southern border is more secure today than any time in the past 20 years," yet Rush Limbaugh judged the president to be "fit for the psycho ward" on the basis of that remark.

Makes one wonder why Obama isn't also attacking and suing California's Penal Code 834b which reads.

834b. (a) Every law enforcement agency in California shall fully cooperate with the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service regarding any person who is arrested if he or she is

suspected of being present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws.

    (b) With respect to any such person who is arrested, and suspected of being present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws, every law enforcement agency shall do the

    following:

    1) Attempt to verify the legal status of such person as a citizen of the United States, an alien lawfully admitted as a permanent resident, an alien lawfully admitted for a temporary period of time

or as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of immigration laws. The verification process may include, but shall not be limited to, questioning the person regarding his or her date and

place of birth, and entry into the United States, and demanding documentation to indicate his or her legal status.

    2) Notify the person of his or her apparent status as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws and inform him or her that, apart from any criminal justice proceedings, he or she must either obtain legal status or leave the United States.

    3) Notify the Attorney General of California and the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service of the apparent illegal status and provide any additional information that may be requested

    by any other public entity.

    (c) Any legislative, administrative, or other action by a city, county, or other legally authorized local governmental entity with jurisdictional boundaries, or by a law enforcement agency, to prevent or limit the cooperation required by subdivision (a) is expressly prohibited.

Sounds strangely enough like what the law in Arizona says..

Could it be that Obama is only suing RED States and is willing to let the blue ones slide ?

If, and they probably are, the answers some of the people gave are accurate, then the SCOTUS will have to reverse previous decisions. I thought Obama was some kind on constitutional expert?

    Because.

There is no rhyme nor reason. The Obama administration (or anyone else) doesn't care about it.

Mass Media only reports on a limited number of ideas; imo,

they must have been full of it, on that day :->)
