I run an online business from my home in IL. Should i be charging tax to customers outside of IL?
I run an e-commerce business from my home. I sell glassware and ship 95% of my items out of state. I understand that any sales made within the state are subject to IL sales tax but am wondering if sales shipped outside of IL are subject to any sales tax if I do not have a physical location in that particular state. Thank you.

If you have no physical locations outside of IL you do not have to collect sales tax. The people that order from you are supposed to pay USE tax on these purchases, but few do.
