Why won't the Ubuntu Server 10.04 installer detect my SCSI drives?
I'm trying to install Ubuntu Server on my old IBM PC Server 330, but the installer can't detect my six SCSI drives. The drive models are all IBM DDRS-34560, and the driver SHOULD be AIC-7880, but when the installer shows the list to manually select drivers it won't let me select...

I'm trying to install Ubuntu Server on my old IBM PC Server 330, but the installer can't detect my six SCSI drives. The drive models are all IBM DDRS-34560, and the driver SHOULD be AIC-7880, but when the installer shows the list to manually select drivers it won't let me select "aic7xxx"
I believe somebody took the drives out and mixed them up, because I remember seeing Windows 2000 Server running on it, but now it won't boot. Thus I'm trying to install Ubuntu. Would that have something to do with it, RAID drives being out of order?
Any help?

10.04 IS a proper distro, and the IBM 330 meets the requirements
