    Non integer;

    What is it?

A non-integer is any number that is not a natural number, a negative number, or zero.

An example of a non-integer would be 15.3221!

    Introduction to non integer numbers:

Let us study about the non integer numbers. The integer numbers are defined as the numbers that usually starts from negative infinity numbers to positive infinity numbers as (…., -1, 0, 1,…).

The non integer numbers are defined as the numbers as the decimal numbers, fractional number, mixed numbers, etc.

Some of the examples for non integer numbers with their related explanation are discussed in detail as below for their clear knowledge.

    Non Integer Numbers:

    Non integer numbers example 1:

    Add the following non integer numbers: 0.22, , 1.53, , 2.5.

    Solution:

    The given non integer numbers are 0.22, , 1.53, , 2.5.

Then to add the given non integer numbers perform the following steps:

    = 0.22 + + 1.53 + + 2.5

    = 0.22 + 0.5 + 1.53 + 0.6 + 2.5 (convert the fractions to decimal numbers for easy evaluation)

= 5.35 (finally resulted non integer numbers)

    Non integer numbers example 2:

Subtract the following non integer numbers as per the given order: 3.5, , 0.33, 042, 5.58

    Solution:

    The given non integer numbers are 3.5, , 0.33, 0.42, 5.58

Then to add the given non integer numbers perform the following steps:

    = 3.5 – – 0.33 – 0.42 – 5.58

    = 3.5 – 0.2 – 0.33 – 0.42 – 5.58 (convert the fractions to decimal numbers for easy process)

= -3. 03 (finally resulted non integer numbers)

    Non integer numbers example 3:

    Multiply the following non integer numbers: 2.1, 0.48, 3.3, 0. 39, .

    Solution:

    The given non integer numbers are 2.1, 0.48, 3.3, 0. 39, .

Then to add the given non integer numbers perform the following steps:

    = 2.1 * 0.48 * 3.3 * 0. 39 * .

    = 2.1 * 0.48 * 3.3 * 0. 39 * 1.6 (convert the fractions to decimal numbers for easy process)

= 2.0756736 (finally resulted non integer numbers)

    Non integer numbers example 4:

Divide the non integer numbers: .

    Solution:

    =

= 4.375 (finally resulted non integer numbers)

    Non integer numbers exercises:

    Add the following non integer numbers: 0.32, 0.76, , 1.34 (Answer: 5.02)

Subtract the following non integer numbers as per the given order: 6.7, , 0.23, 1.33 (Answer: 2.64)

    Multiply the following non integer numbers: 0.32, 0.7, , 1.33 (Answer: 0.7448)

Divide the non integer numbers: (Answer: 14.5454..)

    A non-integer is any number that is not a member of the infinite set { ..., -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ... }

If it's a fraction, or has decimal places, or an imaginary component, it's not an integer.

Some reals are integers. Some rationals are integers (p/q where p=q).

Any number that has any non-zero term to the right of the decimal

    EX:

    1.5

    2.225

instead of complicated, il put it simple.

    non integers are :

    negative numbers

    and

any number that isnt a whole number

    integers are whole numbers

    1, 2, 3 etc

any number that is not divisible by 1

    think about it

1 goes into 2.5 twice with 0.5 remaining

so 1 does not divide 2.5

    QED

ps i see the error - no negatives. can you not have negative multiples?
